So if you are a fan of the Little Witch Academia anime then you will appreciate this game. If not, do not even waste your time. The game brings the characters to life with lots of colors and peppy conversations but the RPG elements lag behind and border on annoying.
Hey there souls fans, if you aren't out there buying this remaster right now... then I'm sure you are contemplating whether buying this classic remaster is worth it (like I am right now). From the looks of things, it just might be. There is a massive improvement in texture quality and performance with almost everything else staying the same. With this new release massive amounts of people will be playing online (the lack thereof is what made me stop playing), so get in while it's hot. Watch out for LokiAdvanced though or you might just end up with a dagger in your back.
It seems like Beat-Em Up games are making a slight comeback with the re-release of Dragon's Crown Pro! If you played it before you are definitely in for a treat with amazing new graphics. If you have not played then you might want to make a double-take as this is way more than just a side scrolling Beat-Em Up game. The in depth RPG elements are what make it great.
It's finally here! Detroit: Become Human is the epic looking cinematic journey game akin to games like Life is Strange, Heavy Rain, and Beyond Two Souls. Made by Quantic Dream we expect some great things from it, and it seems like it might have (mostly) fulfilled those expectations. It seems the story was written with a lot of cliche characters, cheesy monologues, and heavy handedness that you will have to just get over. However, we will definitely see the heavy improvements of texture quality, facial animations, and overall graphical excellence that might make Detroit: Become Human worth the cash.
Although it was released on PC and consoles at the end of last year we still appreciate the late release to switch. Battle Chasers: Nightwar is an epic JRPG that got a pretty good rating before and we don't expect it to change much for the switch. Oh? You haven't even played it yet? Well you are in luck because now that it's out for switch we can observe it again and hopefully some bugs have been hammered out.
Have you been craving a good Beat-Em Up game? Well Raging Justice might just be the game for you! Sure it's an older genre but that doesn't mean it's bad. The animation and graphics do look a little rough though.
Hello Pokemon lovers! It's been almost 2 months since Detective Pikachu was released in the USA! He's not as powerful as other Pikachu's but he is more intelligent and claims to be a great detective! This quirky twist to the traditional Pokemon games is interesting and more importantly fun for all ages. Ryan Reynolds is the voice actor for Pikachu (Weird I know).
Here we take a quick look at what the critics are saying about the release of Conan Exiles! This game was a bit rough in early access but appears to have made a triumphant return.
Hey folks! This military sytle RPG seems like it has more feels in it than you would think. The gameplay looks pretty solid and there are definitely some fun combat scenes, featuring 2 different kinds of combat (short-range and long range). Check out this game for an awesome indie military style RPG.
Grab a partner, or 4 of them and get ready for some Kirby action! Don't worry if you don't have any friend to play with though, the game has a good AI system to control your in-game allies. Nintendo hasn't done anything revolutionary but the multiplayer and full HD graphics is awesome and it looks like a great time. Play with you significant other, kid, or just some friends. Check out the review snippets below!
The Attack on Titan 2 game is based on the anime series and features engaging battles with giant humanoid creatures known as Titans. It has a large collection of characters and RPG elements for character development. It seems the game is basically a mix-up of the story told in Attack On Titan season 1 with some season 2 thrown in. From what I can see the game is very fun and had smooth game-play.
Assault Gunners HD Edition is a Japanese Robot Action game that was originally released for PS Vita in Japan in 2012. Now it's released in HD for PC and PS4, but taking the reviews into account maybe it should have died with Vita. Not that killing the same robot fodder in 70 different ways can't be fun... but it seems Marvelous AQL could have made a few extra adjustments on their port to PS4 and PC.
I remember playing the original Devil May Cry as a kid (maybe an oversight by my Mom), and absolutly loving it. The sword and gun combos are fantastic and fun, and Dante is definetly one BAMF. I never got around to playing the 2nd and 3rd games so the this HD collection give me (and everyone else) a chance to do so. As the below reviewers mention, don't expect a miracle from the graphics, and expect some bad camera work, but that doesn't stop the Devil May Cry games from being spectacularily fun!
The PlayLink title that we were craving is here. It may not be impressive or spectacular but it offers hours of fun and you can play with your family and/or friends. This is definetly a must buy if you have children, or if you just have a lot of social get togethers.
Almost a month has passed since this sequel was released and I haven't heard a single good thing. AButtonGames has yet to give it a go but we are reluctant to do so. It seems that the game suffers from some pretty heavy gameplay issues, over-simplified A.I. patterns, and terrible voice acting. This game is cringy and we haven't even played it yet. If you are a die hard fan I would suggest that you wait for the best deal possible, rent it, or just forget it exists. We have determined that Fear Effect Sedna is Dead on Arrival - or as Game Informer would put it "Dead on Revival".
